SAUtv is the television outlet of the St. Ambrose University Communication Center and home of the award-winning, student-produced weekly newscast, Dateline SAU.

Throughout the year, students in the Communication Department learn the art of visual storytelling through production-oriented classes that provide content we air to the Quad Cities community on our local cable channel.

SAUtv produces local shows and carries cable programs with an education and fine arts focus.

Dateline SAU

Since 1982, Dateline SAU brings you the latest news and sports from the St. Ambrose University campus. The program airs Monday nights at 6:30 p.m. on SAUtv, on the Mediacom cable system in the Quad Cities during the academic year.

Join Ray Shovlain, St. Ambrose University Head Men's Basketball Coach, in this exciting pre-game show.

Packed with interviews and game highlights, the "Ray Shovlain Show" airs prior to most live St. Ambrose University Men's Basketball telecasts on SAUtv. The show is produced and hosted by SAU students.

Join Head Women's Basketball Coach, Krista Van Hauen, in this exciting pre-game show. Complete with interviews and game highlights, the "Krista Van Hauen Show" airs prior to most live St. Ambrose University Women's Basketball telecasts on SAUtv. The show is produced and hosted by SAU students.

The Mike Magistrelli Show

Join SAU head football coach, Mike Magistrelli, as he reviews highlights of Fighting Bee football action and gives us a scouting report of the next opponent.

The student-hosted show features player interviews, as well as interviews with other SAU football coaches.

The Mike Magistrelli Show airs Thursday nights at 7 p.m. on SAUtv, on the Mediacom cable system during the St. Ambrose University Football season.

Each week Ralph Martin, on his weekly television and radio series, The Choices We Face, proclaims the basic truths of Christianity. This show airs every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

Realfaith TV
This program reaches out to teens that are looking for answers to many of the issues they face in today's world. Realfaith TV helps them deal with those issues through a Catholic perspective. This show can be seen every Tuesday and Thursday at 6 p.m..

NASA: Destination Tomorrow
This award-winning show is a series of 30-minute educational programs that focus on NASA research, including new technologies, advanced aerodynamics, past achievements and medical breakthroughs. Each exciting program gives the audience an inside look at NASA and demonstrates how research and technology relates to our everyday lives. If it's cutting edge technology, medical breakthroughs or advanced aeronautical research - NASA's Destination TomorrowTM will bring it to you first.

NASA 360
This show examines NASA's past, present and future to show how NASA has improved life on Earth. How is NASA helping develop and inspire technological innovation? Watch, and NASA 360 will tell you!

Classic Arts Showcase
Designed to bring the classic arts experience to the largest audience possible by providing video clips of the arts in hopes that we may tempt you, the viewer, to go out and feast from the buffet of arts available in your community. The spectrum of classic arts disciplines aired on Classic Arts Showcase includes video samplings of animation, architectural art, ballet, chamber and choral music, dance, folk art, museum art, musical theater, opera, orchestral, recital, solo instrumental. solo vocal, and theatrical performances, as well as classic film and archival documentaries.
