The Master of Science in Mechatronics Engineering (MSME) program at St. Ambrose University blends traditional mechanical and electrical engineering with control systems and software. The MSME program will prepare recent engineering graduates to work in the rapidly evolving field of advanced manufacturing and product design.

Students will develop applicable engineering skills in industrial autonomous systems, including mechanics, electronics, machine learning, and robotics. Along with this, you will receive an individualized plan of study to be set up for success within the program. Students with a degree in other engineering disciplines or engineering technology are eligible to apply.
You have the opportunity to work with simulations and machine learning in the classroom.
The 4+1 pathway offers an accelerated graduate degree opportunity for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering program at St. Ambrose University.
We provide hands-on learning with technologies used in the rapidly-evolving field of advanced manufacturing and product design.
Implement data management and automate mechanical processes with the relevant tools and software used in the industry.

In our Master of Science in Mechatronics Engineering program, you’ll learn about manufacturing and the process of designing products. You will also develop applicable engineering skills in industrial autonomous systems, as well as project management, leadership, and integrated learning skills.
This degree will require you to complete a total of 30 credits.

The cost of your MSME degree will depend on several factors, including your specific scholarships, finances, and the number of credits you take per semester. New students also pay a $10 matriculation fee. You will also need to budget for books, supplies, materials, transportation, personal costs, loan fees, and other expenses.
