Bachelor's degree in Communication overview

To earn your communication degree, you’ll complete a curriculum that integrates foundational courses, fosters your critical thinking skills, and asks you to ponder ethical questions before diving into your chosen area of study. Many of your classes will take place in Galvin Fine Arts Center, home to award-winning radio station KALA and a TV studio producing a variety of student shows. There, you’ll experience industry technology to prepare you for a career in every facet of digital media. Our program provides a well-rounded and versatile education, preparing you to be an influential communicator.

What you’ll learn in your Communication program

What are the Communication program admission requirements?

Applicants to the Communication program must provide the following information for admission:

  • Applicants must have graduated from an accredited high school or earned a GED
  • Applicants must have a minimum cumulative, unweighted GPA of 2.5
