Each year, St. Ambrose University provides up to $1,000 each to students in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program through the Physical Therapy Endowed Scholarship. This award was established by faculty, alumni and friends of the Department to support students.

Physical Therapy Endowed Scholarship details
The Physical Therapy Endowed Scholarship is available to students enrolled in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. This merit-based scholarship is awarded annually based on attributes including leadership, service, and clinical performance.
Student eligibility and enrollment requirements:
- Enrollment in St. Ambrose University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program
- Demonstration of excellence in leadership, service, and clinical performance
Multiple students each year are selected for the Physical Therapy Endowed Scholarship. A committee of PT faculty recommends potential recipients. Application for this award is not required.
The Physical Therapy Endowed Scholarship is disbursed following a straightforward process:
- The Physical Therapy Department shares a list of recipients with Financial Services.
- Disbursement occurs at the beginning of each year.
- Funds are directly credited to your account and applied toward tuition.
