About this Event

Celebrate 50 years with the Class of 1976 during Homecoming Weekend! This milestone reunion honors a class that left a lasting mark on St. Ambrose history, including helping secure legendary entertainer Bob Hope as the commencement speaker for their graduation ceremony.

Class members are invited to submit photos and memories for a special reunion slideshow, contribute favorite songs to a class playlist, and reconnect with classmates throughout the weekend. Please send your photos, memories, and song selections to FreseQuinn@sau.edu.

Friday, October 2nd  

Walking Campus Tour, 5 p.m. Meet on the east side of Rogalski Center (2100 N. Ripley St., Davenport). Rogalski Center parking lot can be found on the corner of W. Lombard St. and Ripley St.  

Class of 1976 Social, 6–8 p.m. Rogalski Center, Gottlieb Room Enjoy complimentary drinks and appetizers while reconnecting with classmates. 

All-Alumni Reunion, 7–10 p.m. Circle Tap (1345 W. Locust St., Davenport). Open to all alumni.

Saturday, October 3rd  

’70s Era Tailgate, 11 a.m. (St. Vincent’s Center Parking Lot, 620 W. Central Park Ave., Davenport, IA 52804). Alumni from the 1970–1980 classes are invited to gather at the ’70s Era Tailgate in the northwest corner of the St. Vincent’s Center parking lot, near the footbridge to the stadium. Bring a lawn chair and any snacks, food to share or beverages you’d like. Water, soda, beer, a Bloody Mary bar, orange juice, sandwiches and other snacks will be provided.

Football Game, 1 p.m. (St. Vincent’s Athletic Complex, 620 W. Central Park Ave., Davenport, IA 52804). 

50th Reunion Class Gathering, 6 p.m. Me and Billy (200 W. 3rd St., Davenport, IA 52801). Please note: This is an informal gathering and not a hosted event.

Sunday, October 4th  

Homecoming Mass, 10:30 a.m. Christ the King Chapel Reserved seating for the Class of 1976.
