Dr. Mondanaro will discuss how the arts play an integral role in wellness and the importance of integrating credentialed arts-based therapies into patient- and family-centered care. Attendees will learn about therapeutic entry points that support coping across the lifespan, distinctions between credentialed therapies and general uses of the arts, and the identity-affirming aspects of expressive/creative arts therapies.
