Jason Senjem, PhD

Dr. Jason C. Senjem has taught for more than two decades including full time at Syracuse University and St. Norbert College before joining St. Ambrose. He has been involved in consulting for non-profits and small business and has worked with several local municipal initiatives on economic development and sustainability including the Hilltop Campus Village in Davenport. He teaches workshops for the St. Ambrose University Professional Development Center. Prior to his career in academia, he worked for Mayo Clinic in Admissions and Information Technology. His research is concerned with how organizations use innovative work practices to create economic, social, and environmental value.

Dr. Senjem is published in Journal of Social Entrepreneurship, Group and Organization Management, Frontiers of Entrepreneurship Research, and SAGE and Edward Elgar books. He presents papers at the Academy of Management, Strategic Management Society, British Academy of Management, and Babson-Kaufman Entrepreneurship conferences. He has presented in London, Berlin, Sweden, and Switzerland and taught the Made in Italy study abroad program in Milan, Italy. Dr. Senjem is advisor for Bee Nourished food pantry and Bee Entrepreneurs Club and is a member of the Academy of Management, American Psychological Association, and Society for Human Resource Management.
