About this Event
Join us for our annual Winter Concert, with performances by the Chamber Singers, University Chorale, and Symphonic Band. The vocal portion of the program, "This is (U.S.)," features music inspired from our country and its history, including 18th Century shape-note hymn and folk song arrangements, Native-American lullabies and legends, and African-American spirituals. The Symphonic Band will also feature music by American composers in addition to featuring the winner of the annual Student Solo Competition.
