The Unfinished Business of Childhood: Healing the Helper’s Hidden Wounds, with keynote speaker Dr. Adam McCormick. This keynote explores how childhood experiences shape the empathy that draws many people to helping professions. Dr. McCormick will examine how unresolved trauma and survival patterns can influence burnout, boundaries, and professional well-being, while offering a trauma-informed path toward deeper healing, connection, and sustainable work in helping roles.
