Manual Therapy II: Manual Therapy for the Upper Quadrant
Event details
This course addresses examination and assessment of headache, dizziness, temporo-mandibular joint dysfunction, cervical and thoracic symptoms. Examination and manual intervention for peripheral symptoms will make up approximately 35% of the course, with conditions of the axial skeleton making up approximately 65% of course. This course is approximately 70% laboratory. Topics in this course will include: Thrust manipulation of the lumbar spine and SIJ; Philosophies and application of Maitland, Cyriax, Lewit, Janda, Mulligan, Travell, Mennell, Evjenth, Kaltenborn, Butler, and McKenzie techniques will be utilized in both lecture and lab settings. Neurodynamic testing and intervention will be incorporated in the course. Current evidence regarding examination and intervention will be included.
