He is a regular contributor to The Choral Journal, reviewing choral recordings and choral interest publications.
Dr. Windt has taught at the elementary, middle school, and collegiate levels, including general music courses, studio voice, and humanities courses in American Popular Music, and is in demand as a singer, conductor and clinician throughout the United States. His choirs have toured domestically and internationally to critical acclaim. He recently was awarded the 2022 North Scott Community Choral Arts award for his work with singers in the North Scott School District. Prior to his appointment at St. Ambrose, Dr. Windt taught at Xavier University, Central State University, and Tennessee Wesleyan College.
