Mike Kennedy Scores 2,000 Points

Mike Kennedy scored SAU's first six points of the game to reach 2,000 points in his SAU career and helped the Fighting Bees to a 70-69 overtime win at Viterbo on Jan. 18.

The senior forward finished the game with 17 points to give him 2,011 in his four-year Bee career. He is the fourth Bee to reach the 2,000-point mark and is third on the school's all-time scoring list.

Jeff Stowasser (1991-95) is first with 2,486 points. Josh Miller (1996-00) is second with 2,286 points. Kennedy is third. Bob Cannady (1990-94) is fourth with 2,003 points.

Kennedy will be honored prior to SAU's home game against Iowa Wesleyan at 3 p.m. Saturday.

Chris Donnelly blocked a shot at the buzzer to preserve the win.

SAU is now 12-8, 6-2 MCC.
