Mask Mandates
Cardio Room/Downstairs Weight Room
Mandatory mask: 9 a.m.-Noon
If ≥11 people occupy the area, maskes are required.
Athletic Weight Room/Fieldhouse
These areas will continue to be mask-optional facilities.
Distancing is still mandatory in all areas.
Note: The CDC recommends masking during exercise at low intensity. Intensity is related to heart rate. The World Health Organization does not recommend masking during exercise. In general, the Mayo Clinic suggests that if you can carry on a conversation without pausing for breath, you are exercising at low intensity. Pausing for breath during a sentence would be indicative of moderate activity, and deep breathing with little ability to converse would be considered intense activity.
Wellness and Recreation Center
Not sure if you missed the ginormous building on campus, but in case you did, it's 80,000-square-feet of awesome.
