Leadership Giving
Maintaining academic excellence and affordability is costly, and in order to preserve broad access to a St. Ambrose education we rely on loyal leadership donors who support the mission of enriching lives.
Leadership donors contribute over 94% of the dollars raised annually. Their substantial gifts to St. Ambrose University set them apart as shining examples of what it means to be an Ambrosian - a collection of exceptional individuals whose unified efforts significantly impact the education and enrichment of today's and tomorrow's students.
President's Club
The President's Club recognizes donors who make gifts of $1,000 -$1,882 to any designation within a single year to St. Ambrose University. Your annual leadership support directly underwrites the University's mission and encourages our excellence in higher education.
· Partner $1,000 to $1881
· Colleague $500 to $999 and graduated in the last 6-10 years; $250 to $499 and graduated in the last 1-5 years.
1882 Society
Donors whose annual giving of $1,882 or more identifies them as part of a select group of donors to St. Ambrose University. Those who qualify for the 1882 Society membership level are at the forefront of university philanthropy, made possible through their commitment to and deep understanding of leadership responsibilities.
· Visionary - $25,000 and above
· Founder - $10,000 - $24,999
· Benefactor - $5,000-$9,999
· Ambassador - $1,882 - $4,999
Membership is renewable annually and corporate matching gifts can count toward membership if received or verified within the year.
Tax Implications of Benefits
IRS regulations require us to report to donors the fair market value of benefits associated with leadership giving. Please consult your tax advisor.
The President's Club
Donors contributing $1,000 or more receive an invitation for two to the President's Club dinner, a celebration of our most generous donors. The fair market value of this benefit is valued at $90 which may affect the deductibility of your gift. Donors may decline this benefit at the time of their gift.
The 1882 Society
Donors contributing $1,882 or more receive an invitation for two to the President's Club dinner as well as two exclusive receptions. The fair market value is valued at $162 which may affect the deductibility of your gift. Donors may decline these benefits at the time of their gift.

1882 Society members contribute a minimum of $1,882 annually and receive these benefits:
