Wellness and Recreation understands the importance of fitness and staying in shape, so we provide many opportunities for you to stay active and have fun on campus.
We offer a variety of Group Fitness classes throughout the week – all free!
Personal Training services are also available to help you reach your fitness goals.
We also provide a variety of fitness equipment in the Wellness and Recreation Center wieght room and cardio area.
This 30-minute class will provide you with exercises to help strengthen your core and define your abs.
Trim and Tone
Using toning and strengthening exercises participants will work on increasing the number of repetitions of each exercise for stronger muscles!
Ditch the workout and join the party! Zumba is a great fitness class for all levels that incorporates salsa, merengue, reggaeton, cumbia, and hip-hop. No experience necessary!
Similar to yoga, Pilates emphasizes your body's core: the abdomen, obliques, lower back, inner and outer thigh, buttocks, and so on.
Meditation is an ancient practice of increasing awareness and focuses while lowering stress levels. This class allows you to take a pause from your hectic day to slow down and relax in a positive environment. Participants may want to bring a mat or cushion to sit on.
A relaxed-paced class that integrates breath work with various poses for a greater sense of balance and direction. No prior yoga experience is needed. Please bring your mat.
Formatted circuit class. Bootcamp will work on your strength as well as your cardio – all in an hour! You choose your intensity. No experience necessary; open to all levels of fitness!
