Iota Omega

SAU Chapter of Kappa Kelta Pi

Iota Omega Kappa Delta Pi is St. Ambrose's Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi (KDP), an International Honor Society in Education.

It's mission is to advance quality education by inspiring teachers to prepare all learners for future challenges. In order to be in KDP, members must maintain a 3.20 GPA and have full admission into SAU's Teacher Education Program (TEP).

Every semester, the chapter inducts new members. And every year, SAU alumni are welcomed back to campus to share their insight at a professional development event.

In the past, the chapter has facilitated STEM activities for after-school programs, and local schools have reached out, too.

Each semester, members host a craft night, study night, and a pie night. Each year, the chapter President and Vice President attend the KDP Convocation where they give a chapter presentation. In 2018, our President Samantha Miller, Vice President Delaney Powers, Treasurer Alexis Schott, and Historian Elizabeth Lange attended the 52nd Kappa Delta Pi Convocation in Indianapolis, Indiana.
