Match coursework between schools

Transfer Agreements

Official Documents

We have articulation agreements with Eastern Iowa Community College, Palmer College of Chiropractic, Moraine Valley Community College, Carl Sandburg College, Southeastern Community College, and Black Hawk College. These formal agreements match coursework between the schools. Scroll down to see each one.

Are you attending a different community college? That's ok. In most cases, an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree from an accredited community college satisfies most of our general education requirements. Here are some transfer planning guides to help you. Or, check out this information about transfer course equivalency.

Reverse Transfer
Sometimes it's in a student's best interest to transfer to SAU and complete the requirements for AA or AS degree while taking classes here. Students may "reverse transfer" their credit hours and earn their degree from the community college after beginning classes here.
