Since 1972, Iowans have been the first to officially weigh in on the choices for those running for the highest office in the land.
As election season kicks into high gear and voters from across the state ready for the 11th iteration of the first-in-the-nation Iowa caucuses on Feb. 1, a traveling exhibit prepared by the Iowa Historical Association will be on display on the first floor of the Library at St. Ambrose through Jan. 29.
Interest in "First in the Nation: How the Iowa Caucuses Have Shaped Presidential Politics Since 1972" has been high since the exhibit's arrival on Jan. 20.
