Dr. Petersen teaches Assessment, Interventions IIA, and leads a Fieldwork IB experience. Additionally, she mentors doctoral students' research projects and doctoral projects.

As a pediatric clinician, watching a child thrive and a family grow is inspirational, and to be a part of that process is magical. As an educator, it is my passion to educate future occupational therapy practitioners so that they may grow and reach their highest potential while enhancing the field of occupational therapy.

Dr. Petersen's current research includes assisting with the development of a new assessment called the Evaluation in Ayres Sensory Integration and analyzing the utilization of outcome measures within pediatric practices.
