A German Journey: My Fascination with Lieder

Join St. Ambrose's Music Department Chair and Director of Choral Activities, Nathan Windt, DMA, at the German American Heritage Museum for a German music presentation.

Windt will discuss German art music and a number of songs that have been meaningful to him in both his cultural and musical upbringing. The discussion will be followed with a performance by Windt, in collaboration with pianist Sheila Doak. This performance will feature a selection of songs from Mozart, Schubert, Ciara Schumann, Brahms, Hugo Wolf and Richard Strauss.
